Short bio
Csilla Óvári is the Head of the Climate and Environmental Research Department at the Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI). Her main area of expertise is the analysis of the environmental and climate change impacts of agriculture. She holds a degree in economics with a specialization in European integration from the University of Szeged. For over 15 years, she worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, where she contributed to the development of the national agricultural support system and the preparation of policy decisions. Since 2023, she has been pursuing doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of Regional and Economic Sciences at Széchenyi István University, focusing on agricultural carbon farming.
