The Innovation and Digitalisation Support Unit was established in 2024 as part of the Institute of Agricultural Economics. The unit supports the operation of the National CAP Network, with the primary aim of connecting the stakeholders in the agricultural sector, promoting knowledge exchange and encouraging the adoption of innovative solutions.
The unit supports the work of the EIP-AGRI oerational groups and fosters collaboration between researchers, advisors, farmers and agribusinesses. It continuously monitors and promotes the opportunities and outcomes of both domestic and international projects that focus on innovation and digitalisation through its network.
