A mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek kivitelének értéke 7019 millió eurót, behozatalának értéke 4844 millió eurót tett ki 2024 első fél évében, az agrár-külkereskedelem aktívuma 2175 millió euró volt, 699 millió euróval több, mint 2023 első hat hónapjában. Exports of agricultural and food products amounted to EUR 7,019 million and imports to EUR 4,844 million in the first half of 2024, while foreign trade in agricultural products was EUR 2,175 million, EUR 699 million -more than in the first six months of 2023. The export value of agricultural and food products increased by 5.8 per cent, while the import value decreased by 6.1 per cent, while the balance improving by 47.4 per cent compared to the first half of 2023. In the first six months of 2024, the export price index of agro-foreign trade decreased by 15.2 per cent, the import price index increased by 14 per cent, and the exchange ratio indicator deteriorated by 26 per cent in the period under review compared to the base period. The value of exports to the national economy fell by 5.6 per cent and imports by 10.9 per cent. The share of agricultural and food products in the total value of exports to the national economy in the first half of 2024 was 9.6 per cent and 7.4 per cent of imports.
